Applications for Research Projects Implemented by Young Scientists Are Open until the 20th of March
Vilnius University (VU) Research administration unit reminds the academic community of an open call for Research projects implemented by young scientists (funded by the VU Research promotion fund). The call is open until the 20th of March 2023.
This funding scheme aims to promote interdisciplinary research at VU and the collaboration among researchers representing different research fields. This funding scheme also aims to strengthen the capabilities of young researchers to prepare an application and implement a true research project.
Main eligibility criteria:
- The funding will be provided to interdisciplinary projects implemented in at least two academic units of the University
- The Principal Investigator should be a young scientist of Vilnius University (up to 10 years after PhD prior to the call deadline), a doctoral, master's student.
- Bachelor students can participate as research team members.
- Project budget: up to € 8 000 for the year 2023; up to € 10 000 for the year 2024.
- Research team members (including principal investigators) may participate in only one project of this call
