Academic titles of Doctor Honoris Causa of Vilnius University - for 2 outstanding researchers

On October 15 the celebratory meeting of the University Senate will take place at the University Church of St.Johns'. Academic titles of Doctor Honoris Causa of Vilnius University will be awarded to Professor . Dr. HARTMUT FUEß (Darmstadt University of Technology

Institute of Materials Science) and to Professor Dr. GRAHAM R. FLEMING (University of California Berkeley).

The ceremony will take place at 15.00 at the University church of St. Johns'(entrance from 3 Universiteto St.).

Both researchers will give lectures on this occasion. On October 14, at 13.00 Prof. Hartmut Fueß gives a lecture "Structure of Functional Materials" at the Faculty of Physics, room 213.

On October 16 at 13.00 prof. GrahamoR. Fleming will give a lecture „The Physics of Photosynthetic Light Harvesting" at Povilas Brazdžiūnas Auditorium.
