We invite you to join us a for a discussion with Stuart Milk, global LGBT human rights activist, political speaker, and co-founder of the Harvey Milk Foundation in the United States.
As they make progress in the defense of human rights along their continued path of full transatlantic integration and democratic reforms, the Central and Eastern European members of the European Union stand in stark contrast to those nations of the post-Soviet space that are moving backward to semi-authoritarian systems and are thus becoming increasingly vulnerable to Moscow's social and political influence.
Our discussion will review examples of successful post-communist transition and examine the current and future challenges facing the entire region in the promotion of human rights, particularly in regards to the inclusivity of LGBT communities.
Space is limited, so please kindly RSVP as soon as possible by telephone, 8 678 24 252, or e-mail to , by 15:00 this Thursday, September 11.
