A Call to Participate in the Summer School “Advanced Liver Disease and Beyond”
The Universities of Bergen and Padua are organising the Arqus Summer School “Advanced liver disease and beyond” from 26th to 30th September at Padua. Young fellows from the Arqus universities are invited to explore in-depth the most relevant developments and challenges regarding liver disease with experts from the University of Padua, Leipzig University and the University of Lyon.
The Summer School consists of a five-day course, held in English. The first part of each day includes overview lectures and difficult cases discussion. In the afternoon abstract presentations will be held by the participants. The Summer School is also enriched with guided tours to sites of particular interest in Padua (for example the Scrovegni Chapel, the Botanical Garden and Palazzo Bo).
The Alliance offers at least 3 fellowships for Arqus students in Gastroenterology and Hepatology (still in training) which will be fully granted with travel and accommodation costs. The selection of participants will be managed by the University of Padua based on the scientific curriculum and the submitted abstracts. Participants are required to speak fluent English.
Applications must be submitted by 28th May via this online form.
