2023 Entrepreneurship Workshops for Junior Researchers
UNITeD protect partners Vilnius University and Tartu University (Estonia) offer an entrepreneurship workshop tailored for PhD and Master students. These 7-day activities broaden your understanding of boosting your research impact through entrepreneurship and give an essential experience of the possibilities for developing research results into a business.
The workshop is aimed to delve into the area of deep tech entrepreneurship and learn valuable techniques for problem-solving. The junior researchers could also explore market analysis techniques, develop a strong value proposition for their idea, and gain insights into business models, intellectual property protection, marketing strategies, pricing, sales techniques, funding options, and financial planning.
Additionally, participants will discover how to build a winning team and craft a compelling pitch to captivate investors. Throughout the workshop, the participants will be given a chance to put their newfound knowledge into action with group exercises, receive valuable feedback along the way, and enhance their entrepreneurial skills, paving the way for future success.
The workshops are free of charge and organized by Vilnius University and Tartu University under an EIT project UNITeD. This 2ECTS course is free and will be organized online.
Lecturers: technology transfer experts from Vilnius University and Tartu University.
Duration: 50 academic hours (31 contact hour and 19 hours for independent group work).
