The FOREU4ALL Community of Practice Starts Its Operations
In a significant step towards realising the full transformational potential of the European Universities initiative, the FOREU4ALL community of practice has officially started its operations. The community will bring together all 64 European Universities alliances and other higher education stakeholders like student organisations and university associations. Arqus is one of the full members of the project and will be actively involved in the development of two topics: FOR-EU Community of Practice and FOR-EU Policy Hub.
A platform for peer learning and dissemination
FOREU4ALL is a community of practice that connects European universities and the wider higher education sector, fostering closer cooperation.
Its two main objectives are:
- strengthening collaboration: facilitate peer learning and knowledge sharing between European Universities alliances, enabling them to leverage each other’s strengths and expertise.
- sharing best practices: increase the dissemination of transferable results and models within the wider higher education sector to allow their wider use.
Concrete steps towards a more collaborative future
To achieve its objectives, FOREU4ALL will
- establish topical groups on key topics to facilitate the exchange of best practices
- develop guidelines and case studies on best practices, providing valuable insights and lessons for European Universities alliances and the wider higher education sector
- engage with experts who are contributing to policy dialogue
- organise events and activities, such as webinars, meetings and workshops, to share information and engagement
- build the community through community-building activities to foster a sense of belonging and cooperation
- boost the dissemination of transferable results of, as well as events, webinars and workshops organised by the European Universities alliances
