Arqus Virtual Company Creation Challenge Winners Announced

The Arqus Virtual Company Creation Challenge 2022 finals took place this week in Lyon. The 6 teams met in Lyon for the in-person finals on 20th and 21st April, and participated in various activities such as workshops on learning to construct their pitch and working on turning their fictional project into a real one, a Lyon city visit, as well as a pitch competition in front of a jury of external partners.

And a big congratulations to team Ecoflush for being the jury’s favourite and winning the 3rd edition of the Virtual Company Creation Challenge! In addition to the trophy, the team will be able to access additional coaching from Arqus experts. Ecoflush has designed a water filtering system for the reuse of greywater to avoid the use of drinking water for tasks that do not require it, such as flushing the toilet or taking a shower, thus saving and making better use of an increasingly scarce resource.

In parallel to the in-person finals, an online pitch voting contest took place from 18th to 21st April in order to elect the public’s favourite team. Over 1,800 votes were cast, and POSSIBLE was elected the public’s favourite team! This project business facilitates the design of amputation prostheses.
