Call for Applications Academic Year 2021–2022: Research Exchange

The ARQUS European University Alliance is a cooperation between the Universities of Bergen, Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon, Padua, and Vilnius, which is funded by the European Commission.

Among other activities, ARQUS will support research stays at one of the ARQUS partner universities by funding travel expenses and providing opportunities for further intensified cooperation with the host university.

In the context of doctoral training, this mobility programme can also be used for initiating collaboration with a doctoral co-advisor from one of the ARQUS partner universities.

The planned research stay has a minimum duration of two weeks and a maximum duration of three months depending on the funding category. Eligible for research exchanges are professors, senior researchers, postdocs, doctoral candidates, and advanced master students from all faculties and fields of research.

Research stays may also include the participation in one of the ARQUS Research Focus Forums or one of the ARQUS R & I workshops.

Funding categories:

• Category 1: Senior Researchers: 2 to 4 weeks, funding (on a pro rata basis): 1500,00 EUR per month
• Category 2: Doctoral Candidates and Master Students: 2 weeks to 3 months, funding (on a pro rata basis): 1200,00 EUR per month

Application deadline: November 15, 2021.

Funding period: The research stay must be carried out until September 30, 2022.
