VU Chamber Orchestra Concert 'Returning Generations'

The VU Culture Centre invites you to a special concert to promote the unity of the community and uphold the musical tradition of the classics. 

The orchestra will consist of both current members and alumni. The orchestra will perform Antonio Salieri's 'Venetian Symphony' (in Italian, La Veneziana), Franz Berwald's concert for bassoon and orchestra, and Joseph Haydn's 'Farewell Symphony' (in German, Abschieds-Symphonie), the final part of which will be a theatrical farewell to the stage.

The orchestra's artistic director is Modestas Jankūnas. The concert is organised by the VU Culture Centre. It will take place on 5 April at 18:00, in St Johns' Church (Šv. Jono g. 12). The event is free and open to everyone.
