Academic Advising

Prospective students, current Vilnius University students and other members of the university community can contact academic advisors at the Student Affairs and Career Office (SACO) or in each academic unit (faculty).

The Student Affairs and Career Office invites Vilnius University students and prospective students to register for individual consultations. When registering, you can choose between online or in-person consultation. These individual consultations are completely free of charge.

How to prepare for a consultation:

1. Clarify your specific questions.

2. Describe your situation and the questions you have and outline your expectations for the consultation.

Describe your questions and other important information (study level, year of study, type of funding, etc.) in the registration form. Mark the consultation date and time in your calendar.

If the consultation will take place remotely:

o Check your email, as you will receive consultation-related information there.

o Choose a quiet and comfortable place.

o Make sure your video camera, microphone, and most importantly your internet connection are working properly.

3. If your plans change, be sure to inform the consultants.

If you would like to cancel or reschedule the consultation, you can do so on the Calendly platform or by notifying via email at
