The atomic force microscope is used for nanometric analysis of biomolecule and cell surfaces, for single-biomolecule and single-cell manipulations and to study their properties.
Technical characteristics
Atomic force microscope with moving tip equiped with noise reducing chamber and electrochemical module. Top view system with 1.6 micrometer resolution. Fully automated camera. Sampler holder with vacuum pump. Scaner parameters: minimal scaning (XY) area 90 µm, Z range from 10 µm. Available measurement methods: tapping mode, contact mode. Imaging: phase imaging, lateral force microscopy, force modulating, electrical field microscopy, magnetic force microscopy, piezoresponse force microscopy.
Application. Surface analysis of solids, biomolecules, cell cultures in water or air. Single molecule or cell manipulation for their properties investigation.
